The Frestonians Set to Rock Stonham Barns Park with Fuze & Ryan Redwood
Ipswich, UK – The Frestonians, an alternative rock/punk/new-wave band from Ipswich, UK, are set to perform at Stonham Barns Park on the 12th of August 2023. The band, which consists of Peter on vocals/guitar, Wendy on vocals/guitar, Tom on bass, and Greg on drums, will be supported by Fuze and Ryan Redwood.
The event, which is set to take place at The Aspal Theatre, is scheduled to start at 8 pm. Doors will open at 7 pm, with support starting at 7.30 pm. Advanced tickets are available for purchase, with early bird tickets priced at £6.00 per person until the 12th of July 2023. General admission tickets are priced at £8.00 per person from the 12th of July 2023 onwards.

The Frestonians have come a long way since forming back in 2019. During the UK lockdowns, the band regularly performed online gigs, including Giving Gigs, Let’s Rock the Lockdown, Socially Distant Fest, and the Virtual Open Mic. The band also featured on BBC Radio Suffolk and the John Peel Centre’s Whole SheBang show.
Their debut EP “Midnight” was released in January 2022, and the band received much acclaim for their unique sound. Tracks on the EP have been played on local and internet radio stations and included in Spotify playlists worldwide. The band achieved the BBC Introducing Track of the Week in May 2022 for the track “Lock Away My Soul.” The band was also nominated in the NMG Awards in September 2022, coming third in the Audience Choice vote and fourth for the Track of the Year vote with “Midnight.”
Recently, the band released the “Live in The Smokehouse” EP, featuring tracks performed live at their November 2022 gig. Additionally, a new EP, “Slow Dance,” which includes new material, was released on 10 February 2023. Fans can view videos supporting released singles from the “Midnight” EP and performances in gigs on the band’s YouTube channel.
