Suffolk destination hosts party with prize winners galore
Stonham Barns Park has staged a Spooky Fun Party to celebrate Halloween. The free entry Halloween Party featured a Children’s and Adult’s Fancy-Dress Competition. There was also a prize for the best spooky pumpkin carved and entered into The Best Pumpkin Competition which was won by Olivia Taylor.
The event was supported by Georgia of Georgia’s Face Painting who painted Halloween faces all through the party. Among the fun games played during the party was ‘Making a Mummy’ with lots of imagination and a massive supply of toilet rolls!
The event – held at Legends Bar – raised over £100 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire 24 hours a day. The EAAA is a charity providing life-saving critical care by air and road. It flew 1270 helicopter missions in 2023 alone.
Says Luke Hughes of Legends Bar, ‘We did have lots of Halloween fun with our Halloween Party. We had competitions, a spooky food and drink menu and something for people of all ages to do.’
‘We plotted and planned the activities – like witches around a cauldron – and were very happy to roll out some entertainment and family fun while raising money for the EAAA!’
Stonham Barns Park is a day out for all the family to suit all ages. Other activities at the leisure, retail and holiday venue include The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, Café 24, The Golf, Centre a Teapot Pottery, holiday lodges, a caravan park, camping and glamping, a sports bar and fishing lakes.
